Description
Here’s an easy colorwork hat pattern! As written, the blocked project fits up to a 22-inch circumference head. The stranded design is positioned so that the flipped-up brim doesn’t hide your beautiful colorwork. Worked up in super-soft San Luis Valley worsted weight yarns, this hat will make a lovely but fast gift. There’s also a detailed tutorial on how to measure your head and alter the pattern to get the perfect fit.
Yarns: Up to four colors of San Luis Valley Worsted, 1 skein each (total yardage approx. 175 yards). Four skeins will make 3-4 hats if you alternate the color schemes and rotate which color is the main color. You could make a coordinating family set!
Gauge/needles/notions: 5.5 sts/in, 7 rounds/in (before blocking) on US 7/4.5mm circs or DPNs, 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle.
